Description
A side elevation of a rural house with fruit trees.
Commentary
A distinctly different composition in that a band of pale blue green has been drawn across the foreground, or more likely reserved in primer in a modernist manner. Elsewhere the painting is typical of B Fleming’s short staccato strokes This may be a compositional device or more likely points to the proportions of the painting complying with a photographic reference.
