Description
Pink and red pom pom blooms in a white ceramic vase on a wooden sill.
Commentary
The English dimensions and subject suggest that this was executed in England. Th e artist is using the smooth surface of the board and working in texture, with accomplished shadowing on the form of the vase and convincing trompe l’oeil effect on the sill. Most likely early to mid 1970s.
