Description
A small hamlet in the foothills of mountains.
Commentary
Possibly painted in situ in the Pyrenees. The recession in the mountain range is particularly well handled. The flat planes of colour and bright palette point to B Fleming. The cast of sunlight on the grass in the foreground shows B Fleming at her best.

Barbara Fleming.
