A single tree dominates a cliff top overlooking a clear blue landscape with a marine bay to the middle distance.
Commentary
A light palette and small delicate brushstrokes typical of Barbara Fleming’s style whilst in France. The precise brush work describing the roofs are a characteristic of her approach at this time.
