Description

A Sketchy and dynamic depiction of a copse reflected in water with a standing male figure in the foreground in a pink jacket.

Commentary

A striking almost abstract expressionist approach to depicting nature. A real potential departure and likely late career Alec Fleming working in England, En plein air.. The very expressive use of brushwork point to the rapidity of the execution.

Attribution

Attributed to Alec Fleming.
