Description

A woman with a white dress and a gold brooch against a grey brown background.

Commentary

Typical of Alec Flemings mid career style. Possibly mid 1970s. Strong horizontal impasto brush strokes especially on the dress fabric. Delicate blue grey tones describing shadow on the face and neck are well painted.- Possibly a portrait of B Fleming.
