Description

Head and shoulders of a female nude with long hair.

Commentary

A distinct- ively different approach to flesh tones from A Fleming. either an experimental departure or a period of influence from more Modernist contemporaries. The paint has been deliberately applied with little finesse or blending but with strong long impasto strokes to depict movement.
