Description
A young man in a blue shirt- head and shoulders against an ochre background.
Commentary
An archetype of A Fleming’s portrait studies. Unusually however, seen face on. The flesh tones on the nose and neck capturing the fall of light are particularly convincingly painted in the artist’s mature style.
Attribution
Attributed to Alec Fleming.
Given to Alec Fleming in the catalogue.
