Description
A bearded male life model, three quarter length, in briefs leaning against a step ladder.
Commentary
Probably from a life class, or a private model, likely late 60s early 1970s, showing Alec Fleming in command of his palette using distinct impasto shorter flat brush strokes to convincingly describe the flesh tones. The use of reserved canvas to depict light is typical of the artist at this time.
