Description
Three quarter portrait of a seated young woman with long blonde hair.
Commentary
The clothing and hairstyle suggest late 1960s, with A Fleming’s characteristic rapid, broad brush work and well thought out palette. The plain dominant colour ‘scumbled’ background is also typical of Alec’s later portrait studies. Signed A Fleming in blue marker in the bottom right, in the identifiable hand of the attributor of the verso of the works. This could be A Fleming acting at a later date.
