Description
Tall pan tiled buildings set in a garden with trees and small rooftops behind.
Commentary
The repetitive directional brush marks and bold palette, lean towards Cezanne. The strong sunlight creates shadows which on the gable end are particularly convincing. The capture of the light on the foliage on the single three trees in the foreground is characteristic of Alec.
